The contractor will pave Wells Street between N. 6th St. to N. 3rd St. with the final asphalt coat Thursday, November 7. Similar to the binder operation, the roadway will close at 7 a.m. and will re-open to traffic once pavement markings are down.
If there is time after the planned work is complete, the contractor will also pave Plankinton Ave. and Wells Street between Plankinton Ave. and the bridge. Plankinton Ave. will re-open to traffic once pavement markings are down on the final asphalt coat.
The South Lot will not be accessible at times and the North Lot will only be accessible from Old World Third Street and down the alley and around into the parking lot.
Milling and asphalt of the roadway east of the Milwaukee River to North Water Street will be completed in the near future. Exact date has not been determined at this time. We anticipate the final asphalt coating will be done during the week of November 12th.
Please stay tuned for future updates.
