Your Donation Makes This Holiday Plate Possible for People Living with HIV

Happy Holidays!

This season, friends of AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW) are joining in the tradition of helping to make the holidays brighter for patients and families confronting HIV/AIDS across the state of Wisconsin.

Last year, donations helped deliver over 19,400 holiday meals. We need your help to make the holidays brighter for more patients and families. This year, we hope you will consider making a special year-end gift to help make the holidays possible for more people living with HIV/AIDS in our community.

Your gift is much more than a holiday meal. You are giving hope and hospitality to thousands of people living with HIV, especially those marginalized by their friends, family, or community.

Please take a moment to reflect a few stories of hope:

Mirianna’s Story:

Jim’s Story:

I remember the day I was diagnosed because my mom’s birthday is September 9th and September 11th was the year before. The date the date was right between those two significant events kind of has some resonance with me.

At one time, I found myself unemployed after an employer downsized. It was completely unexpected, and I was unsure how I would make ends meet. Fortunately, I was able to access the ARCW food pantry and housing services. Having those things taken care of made a huge difference.

Roberta’s Story:

The gift of a meal can help brighten the holidays for people with HIV—and a healthy diet is essential for patients to gain the strength they need to overcome HIV. Yet many of our patients do not have reliable access to nutritious food. That is why we established the state’s largest network of food pantries dedicated to HIV patients. It is one of the many ways that we wrap HIV medical care with the social services and support that our patients need to live a long and healthy life.

With your financial gift, we can extend our services and the best that our community and Wisconsin has to offer—compassion, care, and love. Together, we can to make sure that all people living with HIV in Wisconsin receive the care and support that they need. All in the pursuit of a world without AIDS.

Thank you in advance for considering this important request. From all of us at ARCW, we wish you and your families the happiest and healthiest of holiday seasons.
