Participants from across Wisconsin ran, walked and volunteered today at the Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee to come together to raise $406,082 to support HIV prevention, care and treatment programs throughout the state at the 28th AIDS Walk Wisconsin and 5K Run.

ARCW Applauds Wisconsin Legislature on Adoption of HOPE Legislative Package

The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW) is applauding the Wisconsin Legislature for its adoption of the Heroin and Opiate Prevention and Education (HOPE) legislative package. The four bills introduced by Representative John Nygren (RMarinette) and Senator Shelia Harsdorf (R-River Falls) were each adopted unanimously by both the Wisconsin State Senate and State Assembly.

ARCW Announces $1 Million Private Donation by Will Radler to Support Psychiatry Services for HIV Patients

The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW) will receive $1 million over the next three years from Will Radler to support expansion of psychiatry services for its patients. The gift, made possible through Radler’s donor-advised fund at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, represents the largest donation ARCW has received from an individual donor and will transform the organization’s ability to deliver high quality, patient-centered health care.

Stephanie Klett will serve as the Honorary Chair of the 24th annual AIDS Walk Wisconsin to be held Saturday October 5th. Currently serving as the Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, Ms. Klett has been an AIDS advocate for 25 years and is best known as the long-time Emmy-award winning host of the Discover Wisconsin TV program.
