Behavioral Health & Wellness Clinic Associate Director/Clinical Supervisor
(statewide, based in Milwaukee)

The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, Inc. (ARCW), a healthcare non-profit, is seeking an Associate Director/Clinical Supervisor to assist the Director in assuring high-quality behavioral health and wellness services statewide, especially outpatient mental health clinic services; provide competent, patient/group-centered, best-practice and evidence-based behavioral health and wellness services; and assist the Director in overall departmental operations. The Associate Director/Clinic Supervisor has primary responsibility for developing and instituting a rigorous clinical supervision program pre- and post 3000 hours for all clinic staff and has responsibility in conjunction with the Director for monitoring all patient records to evaluate compliance with all necessary regulations and standards.

The Associate Director/Clinic Supervisor is also expected to provide psychotherapy and participate in the delivery of other behavioral health and wellness services that are guided by educational, psycho-educational and psychotherapeutic perspectives and at various levels of practice. Furthermore, the Clinical Supervisor and Associate Director will have an appreciation for the “business behind the business” and be willing to engage in various administrative tasks and duties that support and enhance clinic functioning.

Qualified candidates should possess an accredited Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology and licensure through the state of Wisconsin. A Master’s Degree in Social Work with significant clinical experience and licensure as a clinical social worker will also be considered. Experience providing a variety of behavioral health services, with an emphasis on mental health and neuropsychological services is strongly desired. Candidates must possess strong critical thinking, customer service and verbal and written communication skills. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and an insurable driving record with a reliable insured vehicle are essential. Bilingual in Spanish or Hmong is a plus.

Case Manager Supervisor — Southeast Region

The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for providing direct supervision to case managers and assistance and support to interns and volunteers to ensure effective delivery of social services to clients. Responsibilities include supervising, hiring, training and evaluating case managers, anticipating client needs; providing input and identifying new program initiatives; program planning; implementing policies and procedures and maintaing community relations and collaborations. In addition the Case Management Supervisor is responsible for providing direct case management services to a limited client caseload, maintaining client files and documenting services using Provide Enterprise software. The Supervisor will collaborate with other case management staff as well as with health, housing, legal and other staff to meet a wide array of client/patient needs.

Qualified candidates will possess a MA/MS (preferred) or BA/BS degree in social work, human services or a related field and have a minimum of two years of experience offering direct client contact in a community-based social service or health service agency. They also will have a knowledge of medical, social services and/or mental health delivery systems; proven written and verbal communication skills; coaching and counseling skills and demonstrated ability to supervise a diverse staff, monitor programs and achieve specific program goals. Willingness to travel within a designated territory and to work evenings and weekends as needed is necessary. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS or experience working with people with a life-threatening illness is preferred. Driver’s license and reliable transportation is a must. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Dental Hygienist (Part-Time) — Milwaukee

The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, Inc. (ARCW) is seeking a Dental Hygienist to be responsible for providing periodontal and preventive maintenance care for persons who are HIV positive.

This is a part-time position at 16 hours per week. The selected Hygienist will work two days per week, Friday and either Monday OR Tuesday, based on the needs of the Dental Clinic.

Qualifications for successful candidates include graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene; licensed to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the State of Wisconsin; thorough skills in using dental instruments for oral prophylaxis; trained and certified to deliver local anesthetics. Experience in Eaglesoft dental software or similar program, patient care coordination skills and digital radiology experience is preferred. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and educate patients on proper oral hygiene procedures. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Psychiatrist, Behavioral Health & Wellness Clinic — Milwaukee

The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, Inc. (ARCW) is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide patient-centered, best-practice and evidence-based psychiatry care in coordination with members of the behavioral health and medical center staff. Approximately 44 hours per month will be spent in Milwaukee with web-based care provided to the Green Bay and/or Kenosha sites.

The Psychiatrist will provide services to patients through referrals from medical and behavioral health and wellness staff, giving priority to urgent, complex and uninsured patients. The Psychiatrist will conduct assessments and evaluation (intakes), provide a DSM-IV-TR appropriate diagnosis, prescribe medication, assess and evaluate medication management and provide follow-up care to patients.

Competitive candidates will have: a MD or DO certified in Psychiatry, State of Wisconsin licensure and DEA licensure (to handle and prescribe controlled substances); thorough knowledge of behavioral health practice standards, specifically psychiatry; experience in providing psychiatric services; adherence to the code of ethics for the profession of Psychiatry; knowledge and sensitivity to HIV/AIDS issues and a solid understanding of computers and database systems. Excellent written and oral communication skills are also required. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable vehicle and insurable driving record are essential. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
