
The ARCW Food Pantry brings nutritious food to people with HIV throughout the state and is ranked among Wisconsin’s best food pantries for providing an extensive assortment of high-quality foods with respect and dignity to its patrons.
Foods are high in protein and vitamin content, and sports water is available to help avoid dehydration and promote absorption of HIV medications.
Located in Eau Claire, Green Bay, Kenosha, La Crosse, Milwaukee and Wausau the ARCW Food Pantry provides more than 400 tons of food every year to more than 1,400 people with HIV.
The ARCW Food Pantry is accessible Monday through Friday and offers the following array of foods:
- Fresh chicken, turkey, beef and other meats
- Fresh vegetables
- Fresh fruit
- Fresh bread and rolls
- Milk and cheese
- Canned vegetables, beans, soups and fruit
- Boxed cereals, pasta, rice and potatoes
- Frozen pizza and dinners
- Cookies, pies, ice cream and desserts
- Nutritional supplements
For people who are homebound or are unable to travel to the ARCW Food Pantry, home delivery of food is available.
Director of Food Services Guy Alicea-Reed and his dedicated staff and volunteers have built an extensive network of fresh food vendors assuring the highest quality and greatest variety of foods for patrons of the ARCW Food Pantry.
